  Then Enjoy Waveny’s Free Big Band Concert After the Walk!

  

Let’s lace up our athletic shoes, get outside, and enjoy a relaxed one-hour walk together at Waveny Park. Walking is a great way to socialize, stay active, and boost your mood!

• Date/Time: Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m., weather permitting
• Walk Leader: Valerie Gregory-Lee, Event Host
• Meeting Location: Waveny Park parking lot, by Waveny House
• Walk Length: Approximately one hour

The walk will be canceled if the forecasted temperature is above 85°F at the start time.

Those who prefer a shorter walk are welcome to leave early, while anyone who would like to walk longer may continue. If you arrive late, please text Valerie so she can let you know where the group is.

Optional After-Walk Waveny Concert!

After our walk, stay and enjoy Waveny’s Big Band concert featuring the music of Glenn Miller and Tommy Dorsey. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and snack, sit back, relax, and enjoy the music!
